It was just one
fateful day at the cafeteria...
"Fateful or faithful?" Cheryl, who
was peering over Michelle’s shoulder, asked.
"Oh, go away! This is MY version...
what are you doing here, anyway?" Michelle got rid of her ‘friend’ out
of her version of SM:TMT’s creation, and kept on writing...
"Just tell me...WHY do we always have
to sit RIGHT next to the speaker every lunch hour?!" Cheryl protested as
a new loud music could be heard. "Ah, man! I can’t HEAR my walkman!!"
"Hmm?" Michelle looked up from the
pile of fanfictions she printed out for the day and stared at Cheryl blankly.
"Did you say anything?"
"Never mind..." Cheryl sighed.
"Huh? Say what?" Michelle stopped
playing her walkman and peered in.
"I said, NEVER MIND!!!"
"You didn’t have to yell like that,
you know.,." Cheryl almost tumbled over her seat at Michelle’s comment,
who went back to her readings.
"So... how much trees in Rain Forest
did you kill today?" Cheryl asked, munching on her fries.
"I printed only about 30 pages this
morning."
"Uh-huh," Cheryl rolled her eyes and
got back to munching. "Say, are you going to start watching SM again when
it comes back in June?"
"I guess so," Michelle put away her
fanfic into her backpack for safety, and finished her bagel. "But I think
I’ll start when the repeated episodes are over...they’re not so funny anymore.
Say-" Michelle’s eyes lit up at this GREAT inspiration she got. "Since
I figured out how to work with my super-cool new video camera...why don’t
we try dubbing DiC version of SM ourselves in a funny way?"
"Oh, that’s a real cool idea!" Cheryl
beamed. Michelle was glad that her friend actually APPROVED of something
she did, for a change, when she felt a sensation in her stomach. "Oh darn,
not again..." Michelle let out a soft groan, which Cheryl didn’t hear because
of the loud music. (Nor would she have cared anyway)
(*note*- Michelle is SUCH a diligent student that she always skips lunch to study, since she’s too busy reading fanfics in her class. Therefore always about ten minutes after she gets home, she gets a stomachache and loses strength in her body...no, not like Malachite. ^^;)
"Be right back..." Michelle stumbled
across the cafeteria to get some food for once. "Must...get...pretzels..."
She looked into her wallet to find it empty. "Darn!!" Grumbling, she leaned
against the wall for some support. "Now what?"
A demonic version of her popped up in her head. "I’ll
tell you what. If you let me take over your body for...say, 5 minutes,
then maybe I might be able to help you."
"I had a DEMONIC SIDE?!?!" shocked,
Michelle suddenly found the strength to run to the bathroom and looked
into the mirror. "Nooooooooooo......"
"Oh, shut up and listen to me!" it
hissed. "I’ll tell you where you can easily get money for your pretzel
from, so you let me take over your body for the next 5 minutes. Deal?"
Michelle thought of saying ‘no’, then again, her roaring
stomach could not come over the temptation so sweet. "Fine, just gimme...or
tell me, whatever..." Michelle sank down on the floor.
"Yippppe!!!" it looked very ecstatic,
as it took over Michelle for in a matter of seconds. "Well, your money
was in your BACKPACK, for one thing..." it told Michelle, who tried to
protest that the deal was over, and ran toward the cafeteria, where Cheryl
was tapping on her foot impatiently.
"Where were we?" Michelle gave her
friend a very sweet smile her friend has NEVER seen before.
"Well, why you were gone, I have been
thinking..." Cheryl said. "Since that would take up too much time, why
don’t we just WRITE some episodes instead?"
"Oh wait, I know!" The demonic-version
of Michelle smirked. "Why don’t we just re-write all Japanese episodes
of SM and put it up ON OUR WEBPAGE?"
"That’s it!! I can create a new Tripod account...you
can write, and I can just put it up!"
Now wait a second here...Michelle
thought. But...if we start writing those stuff... Michelle thought
of how her life would be totally ruined if they started on the task. First
of all, she wouldn’t have as much time for reading her beloved fanfics.
Secondly, she will have to THINK to write...which sucked, since she haven’t
done something like that in a long time. Third, which sucked most of all,
she’ll be STUCK with Cheryl for more than she usually did......
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo......
Michelle cried from the depth of her soul. Just WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK
YOU’RE DOING?!!?
"Well, since YOU’re better at writing,
you should do most of the writing, actually." the demonic version smiled.
"Let’s go already."
Nooooooooooooo...... Michelle's
cry went, unheeded. Curse my stomach!! I hate those two!!
Letting Cheryl go ahead to the Computer
Lab, the demon left Michelle. "Well, 5 minutes passed already...sorry,
but I just HAD to mention that fanfic idea..."
Michelle stood in the middle of the
cafeteria, stifling tears.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Everyone in the cafeteria
stared at her.
And to have thought that it was just
one fateful/faithful day at the cafeteria...
